Hundreds of people have been arrested across India during public unrest。    (ECNS) -- The 10th China International Elderly Care and Health Industry Expo, also known as the EldExpo, concluded in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province on Sunday, with intended cooperation deals exceeding 760 million yuan ($106 million), according to the Guangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau on Monday.        The three-day event brought together 433 leading silver-economy enterprises from 17 countries and regions, attracting 91,000 visitors. On-site transactions reached 13.62 million yuan (about $1.9 million), with 36 industrial cooperation agreements signed.    Nearly 100 high-tech companies in smart elderly care and rehabilitation assistive devices showcased cutting-edge products, including embodied intelligence robots and elderly-care AI agents.    For mobility assistance, non-invasive brain-computer interface smart wheelchairs enabled real-time control through head movement, electrooculography and electroencephalography signals, targeting users with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Smart walking-assist robots incorporated automotive-grade autonomous driving capabilities, including obstacle warning, automatic braking and assisted driving functions.    In personal care, fully automatic bathing machines and smart toilet robots addressed two of the most challenging tasks in caring for the bedridden.    For monitoring and companionship, fall-prevention smart rings, AI health monitoring cameras, one-click SOS devices priced at 9.9 yuan (about $1.4), and heart rate and blood oxygen monitors at 59 yuan (about $8.2) were displayed side by side, demonstrating that age-tech is advancing both high-end innovation and affordable solutions.    The 2nd Guangzhou Smart Health Care (Elderly friendly) Equipment Innovation Design Competition also held an exhibition of award-winning works at the expo, including AI moxibustion robots, companion devices and rehabilitation exoskeletons.
